中国出身、現在は東京在住。
インスタレーション、パフォーマンス、映像を融合させながら、これまで作品を制作してきた。
それらをいかに記録し、残していくか――とくに「写真」と「写真以外」の手段を模索するなかで、再現不可能なかたちをもつ手作りの本を、作品と結びつけながら継続的に制作している。
それが「本」であるかどうかもあいまいな代物だが、本は私の作品の「記録」であり、「拡張」であり、そして密やかな「付属品」でもある。私は、「本未満」と「本以上」にある本を追求している。
作品のテーマは、〈愛〉〈人間関係〉〈自然と人間〉〈物との関係〉といった、人と世界との結びつきに焦点を当てている。
Born in China, now based in Tokyo.
Moving between installation, performance, and video, my practice unfolds through the question of how works can be remembered after they disappear. In searching for ways of recording beyond photography—and alongside it—I continue to make handmade books, each carrying an irreproducible form and remaining closely entwined with the work itself.
Whether these objects are truly “books” is uncertain. For me, they act as traces, as extensions, as quiet appendices that stay close to the body of the work. I am drawn to books that exist somewhere between less than a book and more than a book.
My work centers on the ties between people and the world: love, human relationships, the fragile exchange between nature and humanity, and the intimacy we share with things.
